My #tbt today goes to Luna, my first acupuncture patient in my life - almost 13 years ago! At that time I didn't know much and had no real experience with acupuncture. Luna had #cushingsdisease and was just the shadow of a dog. Her owner was desperate to try something other than the strong conventional drugs and trusted me to start a new approach to this terrible disease. Luna responded so quickly and amazingly well! I used acupuncture, #chineseherbs and a specially designed diet. I treated her for 4 years and she lived well and happy to the end of her life, when she was 14. These two ladies in the picture are super special to me They helped me to understand and see how much acupuncture can make a difference, for the better, in an animal’s life.
