The project has the objective to fit in a colorful scenery, just like the Oslo one that sets art and culture on the first level, and, at the same time it want to suggest the right way to follow. In fact, the icelandic word RATLJOST, literally means "enough light to sail": this calls back to the purpose of the project to point out the right way that to follow conscientiously. I feel it is a challenge to design it because it has structural elements that require a lot of design time. The decision to elevate the pedestrian and cyclist walk, part of the visualization of the landscape, of being immersed in a very particular vegetation of the property, generating shadows and shelter in its lower level, thus thinking about the future armed markets / posts. Continuing the idea of being elevated, to generate a division between the world of athletes and the public of events. In this way, the complex is not an isolated project, it generates a city-property relationship at different scales, consolidating a new urban front in front of the train tracks, achieving openings of the landscape and public walks. Both from the inside of the stadium, as well as along the steps and walk, a visual relationship with the landscape and the eucalyptus of the sector is sought. The project seeks to generate a synergy between the main stadium and the flexible pavilions, being the same the icon of the property, and as a point of completion of a connection of walks.
