My Late Summer Collection is all about gathering those precious fleeting moments of summer that are filled with: soft grass tickling your feet, the hot sun on your face, crickets singing into the night, and the heavy scent of a flower’s perfume. “Once By The Ocean” has SOLD! I’m so excited for this big guy to have found its forever home thanks to the @nofoartcollective. I painted this 4’ x 5’ acrylic painting last summer and it, at the time, was the largest painting I had ever done. It’s amazing what can happen in a year. ✨♥️✨

Peace and production often go hand in hand The actual time spent painting is small in comparison to the energy and time spent transitioning into a creative mindset, carving out time in the day to create, opening yourself up to inspiration, and making sure you have everything you need to make what you want. Sometimes you start a project to only find out that you don’t feel like working on that painting...you actually feel like starting a new one. Or something comes up and you have to stop everything and address that instead. Learning to ride the waves of creativity has been an amazing challenge. To not let fear creep in if I had a difficult day of painting or if I haven’t been able to paint in a week. To trust and know, in my gut, that if I listen to my creativity it will never leave me and the more I listen and honor it, the more it will flourish. That’s when the magic happens. It’s a thrilling ride and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
