SMART Spelling in action with my preps! The smart spelling approach is so simple and just makes sense. This week we are learning about the digraph /ll/. I love how this approach encourages you to cluster sounds as you speak. You can almost hear a rhythm and it allows students to remember the digraph and trigraph sounds. Maths rotation table ✋ I’ve had lots of lovely questions about my creepy subtraction activity so I thought I’d try and answer some of the common questions here.. - Hands are filled with sand (nothing special, just from the school sand pit) - Gloves are just tied up with a rubber band - I only made enough hands for a rotation activity, not one per child - Task cards are from @teachstarter - In Australia (Victoria) subtraction is part of the Foundation/Prep curriculum
