If you’re reading this, I’ll assume you want a chubby baby or want your baby to gain some extra weight. It’s every mothers joy to have that chubby and healthy looking baby, that looks well fed. truth be told its totally fine to have such desires. The So today I will be sharing with you healthy fattening foods I have actually used consistently for both of my kids and have worked well for me. High calorie foods have shown to the best foods for weight gain in babies, of course the list outlined above are not exhaustive but I wanted to keep it to foods we can easily have access to. Before I go into the recipes here are a few things I want you to note. 1. The list of foods stated above are for babies at least 6 months of age and is also appropriate for toddlers and beyond. 2. For babies less than 6 months, BREASTMILK is the best option. Breastmilk is also very good to help your baby gain weight. But for mothers who have difficulty lactating, baby formulas are definatly fine. 3. Most of the foods listed above can be pureed to either add into or create baby food. If your baby is already eating finger foods, these high calorie foods can be served in diced or stick-shaped pieces. 4. 2 servings of this meals can be offered daily. 5. Be PATIENT, weight gain will not be overnight, it will take some time but you will notice the difference. 6. Your baby might not accept everything offered and you don’t have to offer all the varieties listed out here, just stick to what you baby loves and make variations with that.
