"At 12 weeks we found out our baby boy Zachary had many defects. Doctors told us he would most likely pass in utero, but IF he made it to term, he had a zero percent chance surviving during labor. We decided to carry the pregnancy anyways, and leave everything in God’s hands. He not only survived labor, but we got to love on him for 18 hours before he passed away! Time we never thought we would get! 3 months later I unexpectedly got pregnant again. Our sweet boy sent us a little girl! We named her Brynlee Mia-Rose. Mia means “a child much wished for” and Rose means “promise, hope, and new beginnings”. Want to know the craziest part?! She came 3 weeks early and was born on Zachary’s birthday! (He would of turned 1). I think that was his way of saying we needed to celebrate life instead of mourning a loss. I knew I wanted a special blanket for our special baby! I found Audrey and Bear and not only fell in love with their blankets, but fell in love for what they stood for. It warms my heart knowing a NICU baby received a blanket because of me.
