Squash alley is starting to serve strong “you shall not pass” vibes.

The daily harvests are getting better. I have a chiller drawer full of squash and cucumbers already so I need to make more pickles. I’m getting lots of tomatoes but a few have been eaten by black worms so I’m picking a few big green brandywines to ripen inside on newspaper. I found this little guy peeking out today❤️ cauliflower is one of our favorites for roasting. We chop it up and throw it into a bowl. Then I toss some avocado oil on it along with salt pepper garlic powder and Parmesan. I mix it all together in a bowl, and then we toss it onto a pan. You can put in the oven on 350 until you see some browning on the top from the Parmesan. Or you can put them on a grill pan and toss them onto the grill or on the tripod cooker over our fire. Either way, they are a hit here at the homestead!

It feels so good to be home in the garden! We are sitting out here right now. It’s about 78°, breezy, with sweet smells in the air. We are just sitting here smelling in all of the garden smells. The fireflies are just starting to have a party through the tall waving grasses in the waterway. The birds are getting their last songs in for the evening. It feels so good to be Home❤️
