شیرهای سنگی منطقهٔ بختیاری نشین بخش ایل زلقی (زلکی)، استان لرستان
طایفه #ذلقی یکی از شعب بزرگ ایل چهارلنگ بختیاری است که در منطقه وسیع جغرافیایی از شهرستان خمین در استان مرکزی و الیگودرز و درود و ازنا در لرستان و دزفول و شوشتر و مسجدسلیمان و لالی ودرخوزستان و منطقه لبد در چهار محال و بختیاری سکونت داشته و تاریخ روشنی در گذشته خود و معادلات قدرت در مناطق وسیعی از غرب کشور داشته‌اند.

در گویش #بختیاری به این مجسمه ها «بَردِ شیر» می گویند. بردشیرها، نماد رشادت، شجاعت، فروتنی و مردانگی است که همواره از کیاست، فرهنگ و اخلاق خوب انسانی در #زاگرس بختیاری، با کمال شجاعت پاسبانی کردند و هدفشان اهتمام نام نیک قوم و تبار خود بوده است.
هیبت و شکوه این تندیس ها یادآور مردانی است که تاریخ پر فراز و نشیب قومشان را در قالبی اسطوره ای با نام خود زینت داده و روی در دل خاک نهفته اند.
این #شیرهای_سنگی به خاطر ویژگیهایی چون هنرمندی در شکار و تیراندازی در جنگ و مهارت در سوار کاری، بر آرامگاه مردان شجاع و باعزت دلاوران و بزرگان قوم خود قرار می دادند.
