My first @kristin_ess products and I get the hype. I’ve had the Extra Gentle shampoo and conditioner in my rotation (yes I have a shampoo rotation, it’s ridiculous I know, don’t @ me) for a while now and I’ve really enjoyed it. While it’s ‘extra gentle’, I wouldn’t recommend the shampoo if you have an actual skin condition on your scalp. I found it a little irritating when my psoriasis was flaring up. However, when my scalp is happy it is excellent and doesn’t cause any irritation or trigger a flare up. The conditioner is exactly what I look for- super moisturising but not too heavy. My hair feels soft and looks shiny after I use these and I can easily go a few days without washing which is also what I look for. It goes without saying (imma say it anyway) that the packaging is divine and has a vintage-y feel to it. There’s a few new things in my morning skincare rotation that are worth noting- ✨ @strivectin Multi Action Melting Cleanser is a god damn cleansing dream. It applies as a gel cleanser onto dry skin and as I massage it it becomes more oily. I get a bit carried away massaging it in because it just feels so nice on my skin. Perfect morning/second cleanse and as always, I remove it with a cloth. ✨ @antipodesskincare Blessing Serum is super light weight where I’ve actually been replacing my essence with it. It feels really hydrating and makes my skin look plump and juicy. It’s high in vitamin c and is meant to fight free radical damage. ✨ @tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream is so gorgeous in the morning. As you would expect, my skin looks dewy and healthy, creating the perfect base for makeup. It smells exactly the same as the Dewy Skin Mist for those that are a fan. ✨ Notable mention to @sundayriley CEO serum, not new to my routine but thought I’d give an update. I’m nearly finished this and I LOVED it. It’s a light creamy texture that doesn’t feel gritty or too matte like other vitamin c products. I feel like it’s made a noticeable different to my post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I’ve got another vitamin c lined up to try after this but I would absolutely repurchase this.
