It's a beautiful day to eat BBQ ☀️ . . This week is #nationalsmallbusinessweek, so I wanted to share one of my favorites! @bradfordbbq is located in Lancaster, Kentucky, on the grounds of the historical Governor William Owsley home! They originally were located in Lexington off of Nicholasville road, but moved to Lancaster in order to repurpose the mansion as an event venue and BBQ restaurant! They offer a variety of smoked meats and tasty sides as well as a few specials throughout the week! Pictured is the taco trio, a sampler of bbq tacos with various meats and slaws, and the bacon potato salad (which happens to be my favorite potato salad I've ever had). Lancaster is a short drive from Lexington, Danville, and Richmond, so if you ever have a sunny day with little to do, make the trip there! Randomly spreading hot coals in your charcoal grill will make a series of hot and cool spots. Even distribution of coals reduces this variation to a minimum.
