I heard something interesting the other day......
The heart actually sends more messages to the brain than vice versa. When we think about the heart energetically, it is not just a pump in our chests, but the meeting place of body and mind energies, in many traditions it is the home of Spirit. The heart wants recognition, autonomy~ the heart hurts whenever you shrink your full true timeless glorious self into the amount of space someone else thinks you deserve. The heart wants to TAKE UP SPACE~ she knows that you are here to contribute your voice to this time place and that only you can express what’s on your heart. The best antidote for the inner critic is not using your mind to develop retorts for your mind, but to downshift out of the mind completely, into the heart where there is only love and support. Try it today- when you have a decision to make or just find yourself living in your head, put your hand over your heart and see what she has to say. It may take some time to coax her out, depending on how long she’s been overlooked, but I assure you she’s there. Oh and yes, tuning into your heart absolutely has concrete positive effects for your actual, physical pump.

Easy, delicious 15 min dinner
The obsession has been real lately. Like super real— I think I’ve eaten this dish at least 5 times a week for the last 3 weeks (When we go hard, we go hard lol) I’m pretty sure Ryan has made me this way... because when he likes something he will literally eat it every day until he’s sick of it!! Anyone else like that Cause now I am!!!
How do you make this obsession you ask?
5 oz of Salmon, marinate in the fridge with Coconut Aminos Teriyaki for 30min-1 hr before hand! Preheat oven to 400F, bake salmon for 15 minutes, and broil for 1 min at the end if you like it a bit charred like me .
While salmons cooking, heat 1 tsp coconut oil in a pan, add in asparagus (seasoned with paprika, garlic powder, and salt) and cook on medium high for approximately 8-10 min, tossing occasionally.
Throw in microwaveable rice pack (I was out of brown rice so I used white today).
Voila! Once everything is cooked, put it all on a plate and add 1/4 of an avocado! Done & De-freakin-licious!

Sessiz bir ortamda ister oturur, ister yatar pozisyonda gözlerinizi kapatın ve nefesinize odaklanıp, tüm düşüncelerin zihninizden akıp gitmesine izin verin. Sonrasında rahatsızlığınızın olduğu bölgeye ya da bedeninize: “Bana ne anlatmak istiyorsun?” diye sorun. Beklentiye girmeyin, koşullanmayın. Cevap mutlaka gelecektir. Belki bir his, bir görüntü, bir ses... Bazen cevap o anda bile gelmeyebilir. Bir süre sonra bedeninize teşekkür edin ve onu sevginizle yıkadığınızı hayal edin. Daha sonra kendinizi hazır hissettiğinizde yavaşça gözlerinizi açabilirsiniz. İstediğiniz her şeyi sorabilirsiniz bedeninize, ancak suçlamayın, yargılamayın. Hatırlayın ki bedenlerimiz toprak gibidir, ne ekersek onu biçeriz. Biz ne ektiysek, mahsul olarak onu sunar bize bedenimiz. Güzellikler, sevgi, olumlu düşünceler ekelim ki, mahsulumüz de mutlu etsin bizi. Sevgiyle kalın...
