Know Your Body Rhythms
Alles hat seine Zeit und seinen Rhythmus. Wenn wir die Rhythmen der Natur kennen und danach leben, steigern wir unser Wohlbefinden.
Der Ayurveda unterteilt den Tag (24std) in 6 Dosha Zeiten. (Dosha=Konstitution)
wenn wir wissen, welches Dosha wann aktiv ist, können wir das Wissen ganz praktisch anwenden (Aufstehen, zu Bett gehen, Essen, Sport...) Vor Sonnenaufgang (02:00-06:00h) ist Vata Zeit:
In der Zeit fällt das Aufstehen generell am leichtesten. Stehst du zwischen 5 und 6 Uhr auf, kannst du von der vitalisierenden Eigenschaft des Vata-Dosha profitieren. Stehst du erst danach auf, ist Kapha-Zeit (06:00-10:00h) und das Aufstehen wird schwierig. Vielleicht kennst du das, man fühlt sich dann so matt und schwer, müde und nicht ausgeruht.
Für mich war dieses Wissen echt eine Offenbarung, weil ich eher die Eule bin, die um 23Uhr nochmal hochfährt und aktiv wird, morgens um 8Uhr dann schwer aus dem Bett kommt.
Manchmal sind es die kleinen Adjustments mit großer Wirkung.
Aprospros kleine Adjustments. Jeden Tag grünen Tee zu trinken, soll die rasche Alterung hemmen. Die Antioxidantien im Tee blocken die freien Radikale, die zB die Hautalteru g vorantreiben. Also schön morgens ein Tässchen Grüntee. Spring Forward is this weekend! Our smart devices do most of the changing for us but on regular clocks, watches and appliances set those times forward 1 hour before getting in bed on Saturday night. In these days leading up to and after, you can help your own body “clock” and sleep patterns by making sure you’re getting plenty of nice, solid sleep. Run your sleepytime oils in your diffuser, apply Tranquil roll-on or Rutavala before bed and/or take a supplement with oils and melatonin in it like Sleep Essence or Immupro. Especially after the time change, going to bed at what feels like an earlier time can make us more likely to have restless sleep at the start of our sleep pattern and waking up when it feels too early and is dark later in the mornings can be tricky for our body’s natural wake up response to light so thinking ahead, we can adjust comfortably. •Change the batteries in your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.
•Clean or replace air filters in HVAC systems. Put some essential oils on the filters to freshen up the air and make a healthy difference. •Vacuum out dryer vent & ducts.
•Vacuum refrigerator coils.
