Hello hello !!
How are we doing today?
♾
This is a small interesting combo to work your back, legs and sides. This works in a subtle way and works on the smaller, instrunsic layers of muscles of the body rather than the big ones.
60-60 repetitions for all the 3 exercises. REPETITION IS MUST ♀️
♾
ITS EASY AND A MUST TRY !
♾
Let me know in the comments below how you feel ! I am listening !

How flexible are you
@fitomizefitness
Here’s your #fridayflexibility questions answered...
.
Does stretching help you warm up before an activity?
No. You need to be warmed up before you stretch. The muscles and connective tissue around joints need to be warm before stretching. Warm up your muscles by doing a 5 to 10 min of dynamic movement to prep the mind and body for what’s to come. Does stretching before being active prevent injuries?
Inconclusive. Injuries from being active depend on the type of activity, your fitness level, or old injuries. Does stretching before or after being active prevent muscle soreness?
Inconclusive. Whether you stretch before or after a vigorous exercise session, you might still have sore muscles right after or later on, which is called delayed onset muscle soreness (DOM). Best way I’ve found to help muscle soreness.
.
What are the benefits of stretching and improved flexibility? ✅improve your range of motion: Having a good range of motion in all of the joints is the key. Each day, you reach, bend, and make all kinds of different body movements. If you don’t have good flexibility, then many of these movements can be very hard to do and they might also be painful. Even if you’re active and don’t have pain in your joints, better range of motion will help. ✅make your muscles less tight: For many people, stretching helps tense and tight muscles. If your muscles are too tight, it can affect how you sit or stand, which leads to poor posture. This is why it’s a good idea to stretch at work. If you sit a lot for your job, do some stretching to help tight muscles in many parts of the body.
✅improve your mental health: Stretching is a good way to connect to your body and take time for yourself. This is why stretching and yoga are very popular. A yoga class will have stretching and a chance to have a mind, body, and spiritual connection. Stretching can also help you relax so you can unwind and manage stress.

Tackle It Tuesday
As a full time massage therapist of 14 years, I get asked multiple times a week for strategies to improve all sorts of chronic physical aches and pains. A friend brought to my attention that I could be publicly sharing this knowledge and experience. I thought that was an awesome idea!
Sooooo Tuesdays are now going to be Tackle It Tuesdays on my IG and FB feed. Woohooo! After 12,000+ massage therapy sessions, I have seen it allllllll so I am super pumped to share what I have learned through experience.
Fun, right?! Throw some ideas at me. What aches and pains and woes should I cover first?!

Hello! My name is Emily Rose. I’m a yoga teacher, bodyworker*, and actor. I live in the Twin Cities and have a fat old cat named Basu. I want to talk to you a little bit about what I do and who I am, whether you are new here, know me in person, or are simply a long time follower.
On my Instagram page**, you’re going to hear me talk a lot about mental health and mental illness, and that’s just a fact. It’s important for me to tell you that this comes from my personal, lived experience- it’s not trendy to me and it’s not observational. Please know that I do my best to not over-share, but I also don’t avoid the real shit. When I share my story I hope you feel open and able to share your story with me. I would much rather make this social media thing a conversation than a soapbox.
Because this is my personal experience, I may talk about things that seem unrelated to mental health and self care. I don’t care about branding or one-note marketing. People living with mental illness are fully formed, dynamic human beings and I want to be that with you.
Some things you may enjoy from me: books I’m reading, yoga stuff, meditation tips, pictures of nature (moment of zen, anyone?), comments on dating (I truly need to write book, it’s wild out there) and, of course, pictures of my 18 year old.
So thank you for being here (and for reading the caption on this thirst trap.) Please comment below with something about you or what you want to see more of. I’m listening. *I do Thai bodywork but also energy work. And mental work. What should we call that? Healer? Nah. Comment below with what the heck my title should be. **Also I really really want a new Instagram handle. Help!

⭐️Every day is Yoga day for me ⭐️
In honor of #internationalyogaday #internationalyogaday2019 I want to thank every single human, animal and plant who helps me run an authentic grassroots female Boston-based Yoga Studio. We are seriously lucky. Three small businesses on our very popular Broadway Street closed last month. We aren’t even on Broadway we are on a tiny side street in an nondescript huge brick building. In a basement. We are a hidden gem. We don’t pay for advertising. We don’t scam our customers to get ahead. We offer the yoga of our hearts. We are so lucky that is enough for now.
❤️
Thank you all my teachers.
❤️
I have had many.
❤️
People always ask me “what do you teach?”
“Who did you study with?”
Here is my answer:
1️⃣My first training was an apprenticeship in #ashtanga I started it at 19 and finished it when I was 20/21. I taught primary series during that time while in college in New York.
this practice taught me *discipline
2️⃣ My second training was #poweryoga with @baronbaptiste in Mexico
Barón, Coeli, Gregor, Elizabeth & Claire taught me to be a YOUNG teacher with inner & *power*.
3️⃣ My third training (I know, you see at this time Yoga hadn’t blown up yet so it was still affordable to do a teacher training/get work study spots) was with @anaforrest13 of @forrestyoga in Cali
Ana taught me the meaning of *spirit*, early morning dedication, the power of being timely & ABS
4️⃣ My fourth & final yoga teacher training is in #pranaflow with my beloved friend, mentor; teacher @shivarea108
Shiva taught me the power of *dance* and *fluid movement* I was 25 years old when I met Shiva. She forever changed my life and my teaching.
I’ve had other teachers (tagged) due to my career in body work and self evolution work. I name these yogis today because they have taught me more about movement, being a yoga teacher and holding the space of a classroom more than I can explain in words. You have to come and take my class to experience it. I love you.
