FRIDAY BRAIN HACK
When I want to “get shit done”, I put on my glasses (also because i’m blind) and put on alpha waves music.
They say that when you listen to this sort of music when you work or study it helps you concentrate and increases your memory.
I used to have theses on repeat when studying, specially during exams. I searched everything you could do to improve your memory and did all the things. But this is one thing that stuck.
If that doesn’t work I usually search for a motivational or educational podcast to get my brain thinking about something. You never know what will create that SPARK of creativity.
It can be hard to get in the zone sometimes and working for yourself by yourself there is non one there to keep you accountable to actually work.
I like to do this when I want to get in the rhythm .
I’ve also read that listening to deep house helps concentration, right @bd_imagery
This is Margaret. I met her today at @target when her scooter died mid-shopping. Then I helped her pick out a vacuum. Then I put it together in the aisle. Then I followed her home (87 years old and she drives like a boss) to tighten some screws. Then I put her in my car and took her to the DMV so she’d know where to go for her driving test next month.
After all that Margaret said her favorite part of the whole morning was realizing that her “mind still seems to work better than” mine!
