We will like to welcome Sugarfoots 6 adorable puppies to Brave Bully Rescue! This sweet and gorgeous family was rescued by Aliesha with @huts4mutts and a wonderful Deputy Constable who was caring for mama while she was pregnant and living under a freeway. Her owners were homeless and four days after the puppies were born the homeless couple were selling them on the side of the street for $250 a pup. Thankfully, the couple agreed to surrender them to Aliesha so they could stay with mom and get all the proper vetting and spay/neuter. The sad story behind this family caught our attention and we knew we had to help out in some kind of way. Our intake has been closed due to a lack of committed/ long term fosters and funds, and we know taking a family is very hard and expensive. Huts For Mutts offered to keep them as long as they need to so we could focus on finding great homes for them! They have also kindly offered to help with some of their vetting! ☺️We can’t thank them enough for working with us...it truly takes a village! Mama is getting adopted by a family the deputy constable is working with which makes us super happy as she is a wonderful pittie and deserves the best!BBR will still need to raise funds for the care, future vetting and spay/neuter. We will also like to make a donation to #hutsformutts rescue efforts! They focus on the chained, abused and neglected dogs of Houston Wards by making little huts for them to sleep, supplying food,preventions, spay/neuter and most of all education. Adopt or Foster sweet Haley! This beautiful blue pittie was adopted from us almost 4 years ago. Sadly, she was returned to us for no fault of her own. When we adopt our dogs we always hope for “furever homes” but sadly that is not always the case. This was very unexpected and surprising for us. Our rescue is foster base and we currently don’t have extra foster homes, especially for dogs that need to be the only pet. Our sweet girl had to go to boarding with one of our trainers. She has been in boarding for over four months. Haley is healthy and LOVES all humans! The right home for her will be one with no other pets as she truly just prefers human companionship! She also needs a family that will keep up with her training, a family that understands the breed and able to establish pack leadership. But most importantly...we need a family that will give her a true #fureverhome as she is now 7 yrs old, but don’t let that fool ya! She is wiggly, fun and full of life! If you can’t adopt at this time, Haley is need of a great foster home. Please open your heart and home to this beautiful girl. ‼️URGENT‼️ These sweet babies were picked up by a Good Samaritan after they were dumped down her road. They are about 16 weeks old and she has taken them to the vet for their first round of vaccinations but now needs help finding them good forever homes. Our intake is closed, but because the finder agreed to foster, we’d like to help these babies out. We need to get the rest of their vaccinations and they’ll need to be spayed & neutered. URGENT!! Found female blue Pittie in Energy Corridor (Houston, TX) This sweet gal was found by one of our members family member close to her apt complex. When she was found she was full of fleas and skittish. But thanks to their dog they were able to catch her. This sweetie was covered in fleas, hungry and thirsty. They gave her a nice bath, fed her and kept her for the night in hopes to find her owners or a rescue to help. They would love to keep her and refuse to send her to a shelter but they are now in a bad situation because management send them a lease violation letter since Pitties are not allowed at their apartment community. We are trying to help this girl as she deserves to be with a great family and not in a shelter at risk of euthanasia. As you can see she is great with children and seems to be good with dogs. Adopt Sugafoot!! This sweet mama was saved by some great Samaritans and @huts4mutts ! After seeing their plead for a rescue organization to help Sugafoot and her pups, we immediately worked out a plan and agreed to bring her babies into our rescue. Sugafoot had a pending adoption before we knew about her and her puppies with her rescuer, but sadly the family that said they wanted her had a chance of heart. Therefore, we will like to help this mama get adopted and find her a loving forever home just like her puppies! Sugafoot is a complete sweetheart who LOVES belly rubs and human affection. We feel she will be good with other dogs, but we will know more once she is healed up from her spay so we can properly temp test her with other animals. 911 SUPER URGENT, SWEET FAMILY WILL DIE FRIDAY 10/16/15 IN HOUSTON, TEXAS! We are HEARTBROKEN making this Post, but Unfortunately it NEVER ENDS!! This Sweet Mom and Puppies are Scheduled to be Euthanized this Friday!! We Honestly don't have the Funds to Save this Whole Family and we Definitely don't have the Fosters, but we can at least Share to see if Someone would Like to Foster for another Rescue and to Help Raise some Funds, for whichever Rescue gets them!! Their Only way Out is by having a Committed Foster, that means Someone that is Willing to Give them a Temporary Home until they can be Adopted, which will be at least 2 to 3 Months.
