I decided to post this video where I stack/assemble this two-tiered baby shower cake! I hardly do stacked cakes, tbh I’d rather not do them because stacking the cakes are terrifying . As you can see I inserted 3 plastic dowel rods in the center of the bottom tier to help support the top tier. I really like this diamond pattern on buttercream cake, I’ve only done it once before but I found a better technique which was way easier!! This was a 7in cake on the top and 10in cake on the bottom.

Это мой второй именинный торт ☺️ В разных стилях, но в одинаковой цветовой гамме.. Этот торт я планировала почти год. Рисовала эскизы. Думала про текстуры на ярусы. И все равно до конца не продумала. Сначала хотела просто жёлтые ранункулюсы на черном фоне. Потом захотелось черный японский заварной бисквит, потом кракелюр, потом мастику А потом просто "щелкнуло" - пусть будет всё (с обязательной съёмкой на природе)! Ок, сделала, цветы накрутила и поняла, что чего-то не хватает! Так, за несколько часов "родились" чудесные краспедии и душистый горошек ☺️. По-моему, пока это моя лучшая работа, но вот погодные условия не позволили осуществить замысел со съёмкой , чтоб совсем уж все красиво было . Верхний ярус - Кокосовый лайм, средний - Космополитен, нижний - Красный бархат с вишней. Playing with buttercream is always fun! . Here's my take on succulents. So easy to use on cakes/cupcakes. Keep in freezer for at least a couple of minutes until the buttercream firms up so u can easily handle and use as decoration.
