With all the diet culture BS out there about how to "jumpstart" your metabolism with juices or berries or whatever else, I'm so glad @gaudianiclinic is sharing some fab metabolism info on their feed today. When we're undereating, our body kicks into "caveperson brain." It starts slowing things down (common side effects include feeling cold and tired, constipation due to slowed gut motility, and loss of a menstrual cycle) - it's also hard to focus and anxiety can be heightened. Our bodies are not designed to starve. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Um HELLO. Same bridge, same gal, new and improved bod. 2 years separate these pictures in Heidelberg, Germany. If you’ve never been- you should go. It’s such a precious town and I’m sad to leave! Losing almost 100lbs made THE biggest difference and improved the quality of my travels this time and I’m so thankful for that! ❤️ We head back to reality tomorrow. I’m not ready. Not ready to go back to work! I could live in Europe fo evvvvaaaaaaa
