Cousin Call! At long last, I’ve finally finished my collage of the Care Bear Cousins in 80s Kenner plush style. I’ve had so much fun studying each one of them. There were a lot of fun textures to work with that weren’t present in the Bears. For some of them, I’ve had to use some creative liberty, or in Treat Heart’s case, look at prototypes because Kenner went out of business before they got produced. I really wanted to include the Pandas because the roundup felt lacking without them. So, I took their modern and anniversary plush designs and merged them with an 80s flair.
