Today, it was an absolute pleasure to do my presentation at the Florida Technical College, in Kissimmee, FL. The students were simply amazing! I have also raffled one of the chef coats from my Chef Coco Collection. The students will also join me at the 2019 American Culinary Federation National Convention in August. Where they will partake in the meet & greet with Chef Coco and also the official launch of the chef's collection. Thanks to Martin Levert, Executive Director and Executive Chef Gentile for you invite. I shared my journey on becoming a Chef, Educator & Entrepreneur along with doing a demo on Chicken Marsala. Taking ingredients and adding heat might seem easy, but the truth is, knowing the content of each & which technique to use is the true test. This is the same in life, being able to take the ingredients that life throws us & taking them to the next level is where the pursuit of happiness lies. Aligning one's self with the right associations plays a key roll on the journey. Whether, an actual association or the company you keep, matters a great deal. I was inducted into the the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs as a student at Le Cordon Bleu Orlando and it continues to gain so much from it's global reach. The prestigious Disciples of Escoffier International-USA & the American Culinary Federation has all played a great role on my journey. These are just a few jewels, I shared with today's students. The student's experience should be priority. In doing so, that will be the game changer. Here's to every culinary & baking student pursuing the dream. There are wines that will make you forget the night, and there are wines that will make you remember every bit.... Tignanello goes without a doubt in that last category. What an incredible wine! The power and refinement is what struck me the most, I can almost still feel it on my palate. I guess it’s the very best I ever tasted! Do you have a never forget wine?
