I am so happy; we won the finals of the Regional Adult Team Championships yesterday. I won both my singles and doubles match. We have been competing as a team since the competition began in April, winning each round to reach the finals. (And we won it, we won nine rounds in total, over 3 months, there were 72 teams at the beginning). It has been a fabulous and new experience for me, I have never played on a team before. Why is July 3rd so important to me. Once upon a time I only produced college parties (18+) @toniclive. We did incredible things over the years and one of them was a Friday night party “The Playground” inside “Club NV” & for 3 years we had 1,500+ people come out! Fast forward to the end, they sold the venue in March & gave me two weeks notice! I was devastated because it was the only project I was working on at that time. I moved into this beautiful apartment & purchased my dream car at the time. Perfect timing right. Then it all ended. Overnight. I battled with depression. I lost everything even myself. I was confused on what to do. Experienced anxiety attack’s. Those suck. I felt hopeless. On top of the world one minute & in the gutter the next. I ended up homeless and was sleeping in my “dream” car. Lol. That’s another story. Moved back into my moms house temporarily. My pride/ego hurt when I had to do that. I was completely broken. 3 months passed by and I was in this vicious cycle of feeling sorry for myself. Then one day I had enough of my pity party and decided to give it one more try. But before I started producing 21 & over parties. I asked several clubs and even promoters/Djs to help me get started. Everyone turned me down. They all told me “YOU WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO HOST 21+ EVENTS, YOU HAVE NO NETWORK & NOBODY KNOWS YOU!” But I want to thank them now. They did me a favor by not helping. To this day I think about those opinions. I’m happy I didn’t let it stop me. It lit a humongous fire in me. I decided to focus on the next brand “Anthony Presents” to show everyone that I could do it on my own (at the time). I had something to prove to myself. I found “EVE” on Howard st. (6 buildings from NV, lol) I hit up @djmarcuslee & I said I’m going to give this one more shot. You down? We still rocking together To this day. But that party was held on July 3rd, Independence Day weekend. It was a rebirth for me and I built it brick by brick. I had to climb out of this hole I mentally caged myself in. I read “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.” That’s a fact. Now we’re here. See you tonight. #changethegame #AnthonyPresents

England may have lost their third major tournament semi-final in a row last night, but with peak audience figures hitting 11.7m they conquered hearts and minds of UK TV viewers. It's the fourth time this summer the team have broken peak audience records for women's football. An average of 10.3 million Britons watched the entire match yesterday and the figures don't include anyone watching it via the BBC’s online streaming services or in public spaces. Commercial broadcasters could now be tempted to bid for future tournaments, because, unlike the men's World Cup, it's not on the government-mandated list of sporting competitions required to be shown on free-to-air television.
