pretty darn proud of everything in this photo, because you know when you step back out of the craziness of running a business and you can see all that you’ve accomplished? Like turning the garage into a functional studio. Like buying a big kiln to grow into and already having grown into it. Like building a drying area for pots and putting up so many shelves. Like making alllllll of the greenware pictured. Like having a studio dog that’ll pose for you . Basically, just having a business GROW so much over the first year! It may not look like much as you scroll on your feed and see other potters with gorgeous studio spaces (at least that’s sometimes how I feel), but it’s mine and I’m proud, because it’s here that Two Ridges Pottery is made from start to finish. Last weekend got the opportunity to go to help do some local outreach by giving haircuts for the homeless. I am always humbled by the opportunity to give back. Yes we as professionals want to make as much money, drive nice cars and live the Dream. What’s the point of living the dream if we are not sharing it with others less fortunate then ourselves. As stylists/barbers we are (servers) in the service industry which means we are here to take care of those in our sphere of influence. Last call for Creekside’s Floral Design Workshop this Thursday, April 25th with @petalinefloral! Registration closes at midnight tonight but we have a few spots left that we would love to fill! As a reminder we will be hosting this event @thebarnathighpointfarms, a gorgeous wedding venue in Flintstone, GA! There will be a brief tour of Creekside Flower Farm for those that want to arrive 15 minutes early and we will be using blooms freshly harvested from Creekside!
