What to do with eggs shells after you’ve made a fantastic meal... . . Well, after you take a picture of them did you know you can crush them and mix them in your garden? Egg shells are jammed packed with calcium and when you add them back to your garden your helping your plants (all kinds) get some extra calcium they need to remain healthy. . . Don’t want to buy little containers to start seedlings? Just stuff your shells with soil and seeds! When they’re ready to plant just plant the shel with the started plant . . You can also crush them and give them back to your chickens for extra calcium. This can be used in place of oyster shells. The shells are free and come in a rainbow of colors! . . Or just toss those pretty shells back into your compost pile. They’ll break down and add calcium to your mulch for later use. . . I definitely don’t recommend putting them in the garbage disposal. They make quite the plug! Just ask my husband....... . .
