This photo was taken of me in Costa Rica 7 months ago. . But the lead up to this moment takes place 7 months before that! . I was sitting in a guided meditation where I was swept away by a vision of myself at a yoga retreat in Bali. . Once I emerged from this blissful state I KNEW I was meant to go somewhere. . I immediately googled “bali yoga retreat” and the first thing that came up was yoga retreats in Costa Rica!  Huh!? Weird, but k. . I told one of my friends, @jaclyn_shaw_ this and she instantly told me that she has a friend that threw retreats in Costa Rica.  Whhhhhaaaat!? Cool coincidence!? . I got excited but to be honest, I let the dream fizzle out a bit. (or so I thought) . A few months after that I participated in something called “The Spirit Course”. Each day was filled with juicy high vibe activities, yoga and meditation. . The daily meditation was guided by a woman named @catherinecowan_ . . I felt so connected to her energy that at the end of the course I felt compelled to jump on her live Q&A and get to know her better. . It was there that I discovered that she lives in….COSTA Rica! ✨ . Think that is magical enough?  It gets better! Catherine is the very same person my friend was talking about that hosts Yoga retreats! . Okay Universe……. Am i supposed to be going to Costa Rica . I started writing about it in my journal, manifesting it happening, and mentally being in the energy that i was already there. . 7 months later I set off on my first solo adventure I was landing in a new country- fully guided by the Universe and trusting that there was something there for me. . Well, there was. . I healed in this beautiful country. I met soul sisters in this beautiful country (like the gorgeous @ritaremark pictured above!) And this beautiful country opened me up to recieve the greatest gift of all. (more on that later!!!!) . What would happen if you were to fully surrendered to the Universe? Where would you be guided? With anxiety, we spend a lot of time unfortunately focusing on the things we can't control. Today I want you to instead, think of one thing that you CAN control. Focus on that one thing & hold it close to you when your mind starts to wander. We can't control other people's thoughts and actions but we certainly can try our best to control our own ❤
