Toyota 2000GT (1967-1970)
.
The 2000GT was built for only three years and in just 351 units, but its impact was huge. It was not only the first supercar to come from Japan, but also the only Japanese car to have been featured prominently in a James Bond film.
Toyota were looking to spruce up their model range in the 1960's and the Jaguar E-Type was one of the benchmark cars Toyota used while designing the 2000GT.
Widely regarded as the first Japanese supercar, it was initially designed for Nissanby Yamaha.
The project was adopted by Toyota after the Yokohama-based company refused the idea and started working on what would become the Fairlady Z (Datsun 240Z). Realizing how the bold two-seat design would change its image globally, Toyota immediately approved the program.

Vector Motors W8 (1992)
..
Back in early 1990's, the Vector W8 wowed the crowds with its sharp and unique appearance.
Powering the Vector W8 is a 6.0lt V-8 unit rated at 650hp and 649 pound-feet of torque. The engine was actually a modified Corvette 5.7lt V-8 that had its displacement increased before gaining a pair of Garrett turbochargers. In charge with guiding the power to the pavement was a custom, Oldsmobile-sourced three-speed automatic transmission connected to a Gleason-Torsen differential.
That combo enabled the W8 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and reach an official top speed of 218 mph. These figures made it faster than the iconic supercars of the era, including the Ferrari F40, the Bugatti EB110 GT, and the Jaguar XJ220.

Pontiac GTO (Gen-1) (1964-1967)
The 1967 GTO is considered the 'daddy' when we are talking about old-school muscle cars.
The 1967 Pontiac GTO was voted the most famous muscle cars ever.
It was built by a special division of General Motors in the early sixties, with John DeLorean at the helm. Initially it was intended for racing but they decided to redesign the Tempest into a “Super Tempest”, They used the V8 engine from the classical Pontiac Catalina (389 cu in – 6.4 L).
The 1964 model had a 389 engine, but this was upgraded to the 400 for the 1967 model. The new V8 6.4lt carburetor fed unit made approximately 335hp and could reach a top speed of 120 mph.
Pontiac offered 3 different engine output choices, the classic 400 came with 335hp, the economy version with only 265hp, while the beast high output came with a massive 360hp.
It could dispatch the 0-60mph in a mere 7.4sec, quite an incredible achievement for a car from the sixties. It received tremendous reviews particularly appealing to a younger audience for which the GTO's looks and wild performance helped create it's cult following.

Chevrolet Corvette C1 Fuel Injection (1961)
The Chevrolet Corvette C1 is an elegant, highly sought after sports car that is rarely seen on European roads. One of Chevrolet’s most stylistic and iconic cars, the Corvette C1 will add a distinctive addition to any collection.
Part of the Corvette C1 group (1953-1963), the later C1 versions are the most favored of the early Corvettes. These first generation Corvette’s with the Rochester mechanical injection in combination with a manual 4-speed transmission are the ones that collectors prefer and pay the bigger bucks for.
Only 1,040 examples were made and only a handful came with manual transmission as most would have been specified with automatic. Coming with a muscular 275hp fuel injected V8 that sounds fantastic, its easy to drive and keep up with normal traffic.
The 1961 Corvette’s are one of only 118 examples produced that year and came equipped with with independent front suspension.
