Negril was once a place with limited tourist now it’s flooded with ig travelers/ late bloomers. The Club scene is still good and #clubjungle #junglenightclub has consistently made my top ten world night clubs the past 10 years. However, #dreamweekend #dreamweekend2018 has changed real dreamers know 2013 or 2014 were the best years. What was once a cultural Jamaica independence celebration with hardly any Americans/other tourist has turned into a half Jamaica half American/tourist event with much higher prices. I’m glad I got to experience it before the changes, I still go hoping it flips back to 2014. Dreams is still a good party don’t get me wrong and people should try it, it still has its peaks but don’t expect anything cultural anymore. Now the food is amazing you can’t find lobster for 8$ anymore well unless you know someone but you can still get them ok price. The jerk chicken and everything else jerk is amazing. The lobster is the best in the world here by the way. The Ocean is your backyard in the places I visit. I recommended taking a walk in town it’s a nice experience.
