Sift the icing sugar into a dish. 2. Add the coconut and mix well. 3. Stir in the condensed milk, butter and rose water and mix until well combined. 4. Line a square pyrex with wax wrap , allow to come up over the sides. 4. Divide coconut mixture into two. 5. Flatten the white part on the wax wrap using the back of a spoon. 6. Colour the other half pink and flatten over the white using the back of a spoon. 7. Cut into small squares or desired shapes. 8. Allow to set. Coconut, milky bar burfee.... I went there n I will do it again as if burfee on its own wasn’t decadent enough. I tasted some Mithai from Malawi, after @shaheenaosman_ insisted that this was thee best ever, and she was not wrong. This burfee had me salivating for more. I was inspired by the beautifully layered burfee, coconut ice and white choc that was perfectly balanced... I just had to try and recreate some version of this to satisfy the craving... So I did, and let me tell you this was not as easy as one would think, it was delish but I think with a few adjustments I could most definitely perfect it.
