Sway Back. ♀️ A fancy name for the way us moms tend to hold our babies. I get it, propping them on thrusted hips seems easier in the moment but truth is, this could be a culprit of core dysfunction in a moms life. Feel free to strike this pose from time to time, you should be able to move in and out of all different types of postures, but staying here for any extended amount of time can hurt. Instead, when holding your littles, try using a bit more arm strength, bring your hips back over top of ankles and chest forward over hips. Posture muscles can then come back on and do their faithful jobs.

Ahhhh, the good old knotted plank. Looks easy but it’s actually quite the opposite if you are doing it right.
➡️Inhale release belly and relax the floor
➡️Exhale #pickuptheblueberry create tension in the core and lift your knees from the ground into your chest. ➡️Hold for a second
➡️Then drop slowly to the mat
Make sure you are strong in your core throughout this movement and that no “tenting” or “doming” is happening in your stomach. (When it looks like your better protrudes in a tube shape) If you aren’t sure, come see me! I can assess your core strength!
