Golant is a pretty spot up the Fowey river. Perfect for crabbing at high tide or just watching the boats go by. There’s a nice pub too overlooking the river with a nice beer garden. Just one of the many lovely spots on the river Fowey.

AT Departure is 10 days out. WHAAATT? Trying to sort my sh*t out in the two days I have at home a week is beginning to take its toll. ‍♀️ • I had a fantastic leaving drinks on Saturday where I gave a little talk and saw lots of lovely faces. That left me a little gin-jaded yesterday and I didn’t get round to ‘permetherin-ing’ my kit in the sunny window we had. Ha! Dumbass (me). Luckily I have enlisted my not-dumbass dad who is happy to do it this week whilst I’m at work in London. Gawd love the Rentals and all the ways they save the day • Had my last therapy session today. I cried because he is phenomenal and has changed my life. He told me it was me that’s done the work. Either way, I am very grateful for how he’s helped me change my stuck patterns so far, and I know there’s SO much more good stuff to come, because there always is . He’s said he’s up for remote chats from the trail if anything comes up I want to chat about. LEGEND. I thoroughly recommend that you get yourself an ‘Andrew’ if you haven’t got one ☺️ • Said goodbye to Grandma yesterday but she seemed really well and bouncing back from her near-death moment. Enough to point and loudly ask who some ‘poor auld wifey’ was in the lounge of the lovely convalescence place she’s staying in (she’s Scottish, my grandma) and to get the whole place singing ‘I love you a Bushel and a Peck’ as well as complaining that she ‘doeseny wannee sit wi all the auld buggers.’ I think she may be fine until I come home ☺️ • So, next weekend is my final one at home before I go. Final pack, maybe a creative gear shot (yay been looking fwd to doing that!), some more goodbyes and then starting to do regular videos for y’all. Got some for you mid week this week too. Hooray finally! • Haven’t really been sure what to post on here in recent days as I feel like I’ve been keeping my heart a bit closed saying goodbyes - to people, my daily grind and to a life I don’t think I’ll return to quite the same. That’s good, just daunting ☺️ and very bloody exciting. I’m feeling back to ‘revved up Muller’, so normal programming will resume. ✌️ Also, I am in my local paper!! How rad? Honoured. Much love, G x

~ Bedruthan ~ ITA Bedruthan Steps sono un gruppo di scogli formatasi dalla continua erosione nella Cornovaglia settentrionale. Secondo la leggenda sarebbero stati lanciati da un gigante di nome Bedruthan. Uno degli scogli è chiamato il "Samaritan", in ricordo di un vascello che naufragò contro lo scoglio nel 1846, causando la morte di nove persone. Qui è uno dei posti in cui mi sono sentito più a mio agio negli ultimi mesi. Io e la natura. ~ ENG Bedruthan Steps are a group of rocks formed by the continuous erosion in North Cornwall. According to legend, they were thrown by a giant named Bedruthan. One of the rocks is called the "Samaritan", in memory of a vessel that sank against the rock in 1846, causing the death of nine people.
