What do y’all think of Schoolboy Q’s new album ‘Crash Talk’? Would you say it’s better than Oxymoron or Blank Face? I found this album to be decent to ok. I found a lot of it to be generic and pandering to the mainstream and the hooks were not executed very well for the most part. I found that a lot of the sounds and style hindered Q by him not really using his specialties all that much. Q didn’t really have that grittiness he had on his last two projects. I don’t like how how he dumbed down his patterns and lyrics. I feel like everything could have been so much better cause I know Q is a dope MC. This album has it’s highs tho and it especially ended really well with the last 4 tracks. I can’t really see myself listening to this album in the long term tho. What y’all think?
