We flu home from Bali last night and as I was brushing my teeth with tap water reflecting on how fortunate we are to live in Australia We have clean tap water, fresh food, work opportunities the list goes on and it’s not until we travel do we sometimes realise this or need a gentle reminder again. It’s so Beautiful to see how happy the Balaniese people are and will definitely be checking in with myself when I think I’m having a bad day! If you do visit Bali and are shopping and bartering with them over $5 this could be a days wage for them and to us it’s a coffee! When I first started my blog in 2017 a few thoughts came to mind . -> what if this is all for nothing? -> what if no one reads it? -> what if I fail? It was my fears that tried to keep me from going, it was my fears that tried to keep me from starting. But then I let those fears go I changed my mindset and I started to pursue my blog with all I got. I changed my thoughts and I started thinking . -> what if all my hard work pays off? -> what if people actually read my blog and enjoy it? -> what if I succeed? Those thoughts excited me, those thoughts PUSHED me forward, kept me motivated and gave me the courage to pursue something that could potentially change my life. Once I changed my mindset, I became fearless. This gave me the ability to accomplish goals I never thought would be possible, like quitting a job that made me unhappy and taking on my OWN business full time. Always + forever my girl I’ve been laying low on Instagram (hence my first post in a week) I’ve been trying to be more present and enjoy every moment with Liv. Time is flying by and I don’t want to waste a single minute especially since she will be starting school in the fall and this summer is the last of our full days together. Cue all the mama tears.
