CrossFit essentials... The Kipping Pull-Up!

This “cheat” derives from a powerful and athletic reversal of hip direction—like that of the clean and the snatch—and expands the primary movers from just the back and arms down through the torso and hip to include the power zone. Far from being a cheat, kipping is a gateway skill with functional utility on the rings, parallel bars, high bar, and floor (the quickest way to get to your feet). Where most athletic communities avoid the kip, we go to great lengths to teach and learn it.

Questo "imbroglio" deriva da un'inversione potente e atletica della direzione dell'anca, come quella del Clean e dello Snatch, ed espande i movimenti principali dalla parte posteriore e le braccia verso il basso attraverso il busto e l'anca per includere la zona di potenza. Lungi dall'essere un imbroglio, il kipping è un'abilità d’uscita con utilità funzionale sugli anelli, barre parallele, barra alta e pavimento (il modo più rapido per alzarsi in piedi). Dove la maggior parte delle comunità atletiche evita il kip, noi facciamo di tutto per insegnare e impararlo.

As someone who loves being active, I definitely get my fair share of sore muscles! I love being able to use essential oils in my bath to help me relax - plus the aromatherapy doesn’t hurt!♀️

Ditch the bubble baths full of fragrances and chemicals and try this instead!

Add 5-10 drops of your favorite oil or combo of oils to 1/3 cup Epsom salt! Violà- you can have a spa experience at home anytime!♀️♀️

TIP: If you add the oils directly to your tub, they will sit on the surface of the water (oil & water don’t like to mix)! To help the oils blend with your bath, first add your oils to some Epsom salt and then add the combo to your bath!

Making some homemade soaking blends can also be a super easy and fun gift to give as well!❤️
