I love this neutral tone, it's become my everyday lipstick now! ⁣ ⁣ Oh, can you even tell that I dusted the ends of my hair I got rid of a few stringy scanty ends with a quick snip snip snip myself ✂️. This was a first for me! Didn't turn out that bad thankfully. ‍♀️⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ SO, finally the hot sticky summers (read: humidity ) has given way to the beautiful Kolkata rains (read: even more humidity) . The high temperatures and sultry days have️☀️ slowly burst into joy as those ️️thunderclouds deeply rumble in the horizon. I do LOVE the monsoons a lot, but this year its going to be new experience as it's my first CG monsoon!! I JUSSST about figured out managing my curls in my very first CG summer and now I'm gonna have to do that all over again once the rains start lashing down relentlessly, cloudy days, high humidity frizzies, longer air dry time, potential wash day fails with hair getting wet (I'm constantly without my ☂️). But that's what makes this journey even more fun and challenging, isn't it Can't wait to see how it unfolds. I've been a little under the weather so I've been home for a few days. I wanted my wash day to be quick and I also felt like this would be a good time to test something new! Long Description i know but believe me it was quick.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ So I Co-washed for the first time! And used a certain gel also for the first time! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Here's what my routine was:⁣ ⁣ Co-wash - @asiamuk Coconut Cowash - I applied it liberally and massaged my scalp and hair with it well. Finger detangled and squished to condish a little. Rinsed it out completely. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Leave-in - I used my @ashbabotanics Leave in conditioner, raked and smoothed it down only from mid-lengths to the tips this time instead of the whole length. I wanted some 'fluff' at the top so avoided the two-three inches closest to my scalp. Scrunched out excess water.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Curl Cream - I used the @bootsuk Essentials Curl cream, emulsified well and raked and smoothed in. At this stage I added more water using my Flairosol Spray Bottle from @curlygirlvibes that I won in the @naturallyyounme giveaway . That misty spray does such a great job!! Praying hands for clumps then scrunched my hair with a microfiber towel, scrunch and hold for 10 secs each side. ⁣ ⁣ Gel - I finally tried my @onlycurlslondon Enhancing Curl Gel. I grazed it all over and scrunched very gently just once to not break up the clumps or cause frizz. Left it to air dry.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Results: I broke the gel cast with two drops of @righteousrootsoils rubbed in my palms and gently smoothing and squeezing from root to tip. Some serious fluffing followed. The pics above were taken almost 8 hours after SOTC and I'm mighty pleased with how my hair looks and feels! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Thank you @kink_in_my_curl for the Co Wash and Gel samples. I actually loved the Asia I Am co-wash experience and it removed the mild oil I had from a scalp massage with @vaseegrahveda⁣ black oil the previous night. Hair felt soft and rejuvenated without full on cleansing. The OC Gel too worked great for me!!
