I once thought I had to have the trays, tools and toys that others had, but Montessori is about orienting the child to his time and culture so that he develops a keen sense of who he is in relation to the wider community. Therefore the materials that you see on my shelves are not those you will find in a classroom; the trays you see on my shelves are from Chinatown or Daiso or made in Southeast Asia. I include Mandarin language activities and Asian crafts like origami and calligraphy in a way that I hope is true to Montessori’s ethos. Before introducing a child to other continents, how about bringing in yours through your choice of materials so that his absorbent mind soaks it all in? Don’t be afraid to make Montessori yours. Recipe found on ketoconnect.net Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs . 4 oz bakers chocolate 5 TB natural peanut butter 10 drops of Stevia (I used @lakantosweetener classic monk fruit) . I also added 1 TB heavy cream and 1 TB coconut oil . . Melt chocolate 1-2 mins in microwave. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour into mold and sprinkle with pink Himalayan salt. Freeze for about 1 hour. Store in refrigerator. I got this silicone mask guard from Daiso in Taiwan because I’ve been seeing it on my feed but I couldn’t find it in store here in Manila. Basically it’s a silicone mask to wear over a sheetmask so your skin can absorb more of the essence. ✨It’s a thin silicone with several color options (IIRC there’s blue, pink and green too); you can use it as is or cut it in half. It has a total of four loops for your ears. ✨I really like the idea of this; however the fit is problematic. The top half fits fine but the bottom half is too wide and long for my face. The bottom flaps out so I thought cutting it in half would improve the fit. ✨Cut in half, it’s marginally better but the bottom’s still flapping so I twist the loops on both ears and that’s the only workable option for me. Or maybe I’ll just wear the top half. ✨The effect is similar to those foil sauna masks, a little warming but not uncomfortable. I don’t mind the ear loops but if you don’t like them maybe this isn’t for you. I intentionally chose a fave mask to wear under this so I can observe the effects. ✨I really dig how this amplifies the effect of the mask. I feel like I get more optimal results because I’m getting more of the essence in. I do love this mask and I feel like the silicone enhances its moisture and glow effects. ✨Of course the downside is you have to wash it out, so it won’t be a daily thing, but I think worth it for that extra extra oomph. Fettuccine Gummy Italian Peach Aji⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ These are labeled as Italian Peach in the back⁣⠀ ⁣Anyways, this pasta has a sweet floral smell reminding me of Japanese flower candy that I get as a kid when visiting relatives during new years. The outer coating has a bit of sourness followed by a sweet white peach taste. Texture is softer and less gummy than cola gummies. SO GOOD!⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Rating: 5/5⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ Do you prefer these or cola gummies?⁣
