It’s good though
Here’s the recipe
2 cups milk of your choice
2 tbs cacao powder
1 tbs maple syrup
1 pinch sea salt
1 heaped tbs coconut butter
Optional 1 tbs medicinal mushrooms (I used @superfeast’s masons mushrooms
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
40g dark chocolate
1 star anise
Pour all ingredients in a saucepan.
Heat on low for 7 minutes. Serve.

There was a period of about 2 weeks where Roy and I basically lived on dumplings while I tried to perfect the recipe . And it still remains true, I do like my dumplings how I like my men - easy, cheap, gluten free & slightly toasted (JK, stay away from cheap men )

Cottage cheese, chopped tomato, cucumber and spring onion, spritz of lemon juice, salt and pepper, all topped with dry roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, drizzle of olive oil.⠀

Mmmm... Semolina Pudding!⠀
Great for breakfast, but also great in the afternoon if you’re cuddled up on the couch if you ask me ☺️. I’m having a crappy day and comfort food is all I want right now.⠀

I use 1 cup milk and 2 tbs semolina per person. Just stir in and slowly heat up until thickened (it will thicken further as it cools).⠀

Spelt semolina is my favourite but I have yet to find it here in Australia . The ‘regular’ version is nice too though.⠀

Here I made a simple plum compote to go with it (halved fresh plums, splash of water, coconut sugar and cinnamon). You could also use morello cherries straight from the jar, yum.⠀
