Pictured are some of the healing foods I prepared for our guest who came to stay with us to heal from chronic Lyme or as I like to title it: a severe microbial overload, over-acidic terrain, and stagnant lymphatic system. She stayed with us a full month where we oversaw her care, prepared her food, got her on herbs, provided a safe environment for her to detox in & taught her how to get on the right path of self-healing her body.

To say it was a powerful experience is an understatement. Each of us took away many lessons from this month. We took her in because we felt she couldn’t do it alone. We had complete confidence that we could help her feel better and as I drove her back home this past Wednesday, she was a completely different person than when she had arrived. She came to us in extremely rough shape, not being able to do your average basic tasks. Nerve pain so bad, cognitive function almost lost, twitching, depression, extreme insomnia amongst many other unbearable symptoms. After just 4 weeks of sauna use, rebounding, a very strong herbal protocol (a mix of Master Fast System, Dr. Morse’s and Amazonian herbs), spending time in our garden and in the sunshine, using CBD oil, Young Living essential oils, castor oil, colloidal silver, being in a safe and peaceful environment, consuming healing and alkalizing foods, drinking lots of medicinal herbal teas and fresh green juices, we paid witness to a profound transformation!!! She started sleeping soundly every night after months of unbearable insomnia, digestion improved greatly, cognitive function back up, nerve pain down, twitching stopped, she was taking long walks around neighborhood (even some jogging at the end of her stay!) she started juicing and making salads on her own, spirits back up and a 70% reduction in symptoms total. She is now back home implementing everything she learned and integrating herself into a new chapter of her life. Depois de um aborto e eu não sabia se teria outro filho. Tenho Ovários Policísticos, não tenho mais a tireóide e já estava completando 37 anos. Esses três fatores juntos é um prato cheio para a infertilidade. Mas como sempre acredito e prego, a nutrição tem um poder que não podemos imaginar.
Em julho do ano passado tinha acabado de abortar. Foi de pouco tempo, só eu, meu marido e o Otávio sabíamos. Foi sofrido porque nós queríamos, mas ver o Otávio orar pelo bebê e agradecer a Deus era pior ainda.
Em agosto do ano passado eu resolvi limpar meu corpo, algo que sempre sugiro aos meus pacientes depois de alguma cirurgia ou algum processo de saúde.
Resolvi fazer o Detox durante 15 dias e resolvi abrir e postar aqui no Instagram. Na época eu disse que era por inchaço das férias (e era mesmo) mas era também inchaço do processo de gestação/aborto.
Lançamos o #desafio7diasdetoxfegranja e vocês sem saber me ajudaram a concluir esse projeto pessoal: fazer um Detox sério sem desistir no meio do caminho porque eu queria ver o meu corpo voltar a funcionar!
Além disso, comecei a tomar as vitaminas próprias para fertilidade, ômega 3 e vitamina D, pacote que faz parte do meu programa de FERTILIDADE.
E assim, em dezembro engravidamos. Já estou de 4 meses e não quis fazer sexagem pois queria que o Otávio acompanhasse pelo ultrassom a chegada desse novo bebê! Foram os 3 meses mais longos da minha vida mas agora já está passando rápido demais!

Könnt ihr euch noch an eure Kindheit erinnern, als wir als kleine Kinder aus dem Bett mit einem Lächeln gesprungen sind und kaum abwarten konnten, das Bett zu verlassen? In unserem Berufsalltag haben wir dieses Gefühl viel zu selten - so ging es jedenfalls mir. Man stand auf und quälte sich zum Job, zur Uni bzw. Arbeit. Nach dem Aufstehen habe ich sofort zum Handy gegriffen und minutenlang mich mit WhatsApp, Instagram und Facebook beschäftigt. Ich war noch nicht einmal aufgestanden und schon in der Social Media Welt versunken. Das Verhalten habe ich hinterfragt und geändert, denn für mich bedeutet "Start your Day right" etwas Gutes für sich zu tun. Die Zeit morgens für sich nutzen und mit einem guten Gefühl aufstehen.
Mit der Sache in den Tag starten, die einem Spaß macht: Musik hören, Buch lesen, ausgiebig frühstücken, Meditation, Tanzen, Laufen, Yoga, Fitness oder einfach mal mit dem Partner ausgiebig sprechen. Die Zeit morgens gehört mir - mir alleine und ich tue mir etwas Gutes! Was bedeutet für dich Start your Day right, was machst du als aller erstes?

I took the last week off from Instagram, among a few other things. I’ve been experiencing a slow burnout for a while and upon deep reflection (and some help from Matt), I came to the realization that I was overstimulated. I was juggling 100 different things at once, spending too much time on social media, and the result was heavy brain fog, lack of productivity, and not enough focus on the present moment. I took long walks instead of going to the gym, spent time reading and writing instead of on here, and spent the weekend camping and eating s’mores with my husband and our family instead of trying to be super healthy and going to a ton of events. Life can be tough and we can unravel and lose focus in what’s important pretty easily without realizing it. I personally needed to take a step back to refocus and clear my head, and it helped a ton. .
I will be the first person to tell you that I am far from perfect. I do however try to always be bettering myself and it doesn’t always come in the forms one would think. Sometimes that means no gym sessions and eating corn syrup filled marshmallow s’mores around a fire to bring me back to being someone I am proud to be. Wellness is not always a straight line, or it isn’t for me anyway. I have to take detours to end up landing where I need to be. Thanks for being a part of the crazy ride !
