i was never that person that believed in writing gratitude lists, or taking time out of my morning to meditate, goal cast, or say positive affirmations. but if there’s one thing this business has taught me, it’s how necessary it is to work on yourself, every single day. yesterday was my birthday, and i started my morning like every other day: coffee, oils, and sitting down with a notebook and pen (spoiler alert: i’m now the person that does truly believe in all of that) except this time, i wrote down things i was leaving in my past year, and things i gained and i’m taking with me. it was so empowering to write it all down, and know that i have a choice - every single day - whether these things will happen. i thought about blurring out what i had written, but hey, accountability, right? and btw, i think i just found my new birthday tradition what are some things you do each year?

Happy Sunday, oily pals. I just made myself a new wellness roller since the temperatures are finally dropping. The dog training business isn’t slowing down at all, so I do notttttt have time to get sick. ‍♀️ I brought out the big guns for this roller with immupower, thieves, oregano, and frankincense. People ask me all the time how I “do it all”. • • 1. Nobody does it all. I promise. When I’m shining in one area, I’m likely dropping balls in another. • 2. I don’t put pressure on myself to keep up with anyone. The only person I’m in competition with is who I was yesterday. ‍♀️ • 3. I keep a running to do list on my phone and prioritize it daily. The biggest lie I tell myself is that I don’t need to write something down. • 4. I give myself lots of grace. It took me 38 years to learn to do that. (BTW I’m 38, so you do the math...) • 5. I keep this secret weapon in my purse and apply it often. #valor ⠀⠀
