Can you imagine that Ben didn't like to swim at first ? He didn't like water at all. How did I train him to like water ? Well, I was a baaaaad human and just pulled him in the water But of course there was or is a reason ☝️ His hips aren't perfect and I need to train his muscles in the back. Swimming is the best way and I'm thankfull that Ben started to like swimming! Does your dog like to swim? Könnt ihr euch vorstellen, dass Ben am Anfang gar nicht geschwommen ist ? Tatsächlich mochte er nichtmal wasser sonderlich. Wie hab ich ihn trainiert um Wasser zu mögen ? Nun, ich war einfach ein gaaaanz böses Frauchen und hab ihn mit ins Wasser gezogen Natürlich habe ich es nicht gemacht, weil ich einfach nur Lust drauf hatte. Da er HD (Hüftgelenksdysplasie) hat und wir daher hinten seine Muskeln so gut es geht stärken müssen, ist schwimmen die beste und einfachste möglichkeit dafür ‍♀️ Hätte er das nicht, hätte ich es einfach akzeptiert. In unserem Falle ist es nunmal aber für seine Gesundheit und da muss man auchmal in den sauren Apfel beißen. Umso glücklicher bin ich daher, dass er mittlerweile komplett freiwillig ins Wasser geht ☝️ Ganz alleine geht er zwar auch nur bis zu den Pfoten aber spätestens wenn ich drin bin kommt er ganz selbstsicher hinterher geschwommen Gestern ist er sogar seinem Spielzeug hinterher geschwommen. Dafür gabs dann aber auch gaaaanz viele Leckerlies Für die Bilder hab ich einfach Steine ins Wasser geworfen, sodass er etwas weg schwimmt. Auf dem Rückweg hab ich dann Bilder gemacht und ihm direkt ein Leckerlie zugestopft Ich liebe es ja mit ihm zu schwimmen! Wie sieht es bei euren Vierbeinern aus ? Mochten sie Wasser schon von anfang an oder musstet ihr auch etwas nachhelfen ?

“Puddin came to the SPCA with severely infected eyes at 5 to 6 weeks old. She was immediately taken to the vet and it was determined her eyes were causing her a great deal of pain and The infection was so severe it left her completely bind. With her quality of life the center of all the decisions made, it was decided that it would be best to have her eyes removed.
