Alexa update: Alexa has now been given the all clear for distemper, the virus has gone but has left her paralysed in her back legs. Now it is time to see what quality of life we can give her. About a month ago was her low point. She was unable to even sit up and was only able to lie on the floor and crawl around. Since then I have put her on new medication and she has been improving immensely! As you can see she is able to sit upright, walk around, and even tries to use her back leg sometimes (at 0:08)!!! I have an appointment with a vet that specialises in treating paralysed dogs next week to see if he can treat her and maybe even help her walk again!
