After many months of following them on Instagram, I finally tried @blackbirddoughnuts ! I went on a nice scenic run to get them, then brought them to my sister and her boyfriend and his roommates, who then taught me how to play Settlers of Catan. Best day ever, basically. Flavors include everything bagel, everything but the kitchen sink, strawberry honey, salted caramel chocolate, the blackbird, and sticky bun. All agreed that the raised doughnuts were the best. There isn’t much like a good doughnut in the morning - especially when it’s from @doughnutplant in NYC.
