This weekend was exhausting but SO. Much. Fun. I drank a decent amount of beer & ate a lot of good food some was healthy, some wasn’t. I laughed my ass off & had an amazing time with some of the most important people in my life. I celebrated my BFF of 15 years getting married in a few short months. Time freaking flies, y’all; life is meant to be lived fully. I’m NOT saying that you have to drink alcohol or eat unhealthy food in order to live to the fullest, BUT your desire to be “healthy” should never interfere with your ability to enjoy spontaneous experiences with old & new friends. I personally think we should all just stop overthinking our food choices so damn much & feeling the need to justify what we are eating to others, whether it’s healthy or not. Why TF do we care so much about what other people are eating?! Worry about yourself As Ethan always says (usually in reference to our dogs & justifying feeding them people food): “we’re here for a good time, not a long time” but really.. IT IS TRUE. I am thankful I can look back on weekends like this & know that I was fully present in the moment with my people, not stressing about the shit I did or didn’t eat, or the fact that I’m gonna be on the beach in a few days in a swimsuit. The beach gets the body I bring ✌ What was the best thing you consumed this weekend? (PS: the best thing you ate could also be something healthy- no judgment or assumptions here. Well, where to start on this. Thank to everyone who voted on a recent story I did asking you to choose which beer out of 8 I should have, and there was some great beers to choose from. This @fremontbrewing rusty nail 2018 came out on top! - What an absolute beaut this was, barrel aged with liquorice & cinnamon bark for 15 months in a 12 year old bourbon barrel, and what wonders time and a bit of patience has done for this beer! Flavoured balanced to perfection, a slight boozy kick and all the bourbon notes coming through in a rich silky smooth bodied beer. - Hands down the best beer I’ve had this year and up there as one of the best BA stouts I’ve had to date!! #fremontbrewing #imperialstout #barrelaged
