If you haven’t noticed, I’ve become a pretty big fan of old drip-edge Fender amps, specifically Princetons and Vibro Champs. There’s an aura about them; a quiet confidence earned from a half century of relevance and inspiration. The Vibro Champ has the most lush, beautiful tremolo and is perfect for home, studio, or mic’d for small gigs. It’s an excellent platform for pedals or a fun amp to just turn up and rip. Can’t recommend them enough.

I changed all the electrolytic caps, replaced 3x12AX7 preamp tubes and gave it a solid cleaning.
