Please excuse the GoPro audio but I was simply having too much fun playing on my BRAND NEW DRUMKIT that I didn’t even think about setting them up. ‍♂️⁣ ⁣ So, this is it. My new baby. It’s a @nataldrumsofficial originals, walnut, in cerulean blue, with brushed nickel fittings. It’s simply stunning. The kick is 20” x 18” but honestly, it feels AND sounds as monstrous as my previous kick, which was 22” x 20” - the dense walnut grows out some seriously rich, deep tones. I like to muffle my kick quite a lot and already I’m well acquainted with it. It’s that well made that tuning is ridiculously easy as well. ⁣ ⁣ The smaller kick allows me to get a little closer to my toms so instantly my setup feels tidier and more compact. Toms are 10, 12, 14 and I was originally going to get a 16” additionally but after playing with the 14” for a while today it’s apparent that however amazing a 16” would be, the 14” is unprecedentedly deep and as similarly monstrous as the kick. ⁣ ⁣ Along with my trusty @ageancymbals I’ve had SUCH a fun time today and I’m dead excited to see how this bad boy records and sounds once I fit @evansdrumheads clear EC2 on the batters and some clear G2 on the bottoms. It’s worth mentioning that the kit also came fitted with Evans coated G2 and an Emad on the kick. Winner. I’m in love. ⁣ ⁣ @joelfkaydrums and @luketatlock35 really looked after me today. Thanks boys, I appreciate it! Courtesy of @bobwynnedrums I’m going to be trying out some more Natal stuff over the next couple of months and continue to further my understanding and appreciation on different woods, sizes and constructions too so keep your eyes out for that!
