April is such a special month-the Queen’s birthday, Prince Louis’s birthday, Charles and Camilla’s anniversary and, of course, The Cambridge’s anniversary. I love going back and looking at old pictures of the prep leading up to the big day. It was such an exciting time. Here are some of Kate’s last minute errands before the big day in 2011. #katemiddleton #duchessofcambridge #royalwedding #dukeofcambridge #britishroyalty #london #bride #weddingprep #princessdiana #pippamiddleton #duchesskate #duchesscatherine
The third and final (for now!) tiara we’ve seen on Kate is the timeless Cambridge Lovers’ Knot. This tiara was created in 1913-14 by @houseofgarrard for Queen Mary, grandmother of our current Queen Elizabeth II. Its design was in turn inspired by a piece owned by Mary’s grandmother, Princess Augusta, second Duchess of Cambridge (hence the name). The Queen inherited the tiara in 1953 and wore it a few times early in her reign. In 1981 she loaned it to Diana, Princess of Wales for the first time and over the next decade plus it became an absolutely iconic piece on her - along with the Spencer tiara and her engagement ring, I believe this is one of the most well-known jewels associated with Diana. Following Diana & Charles’s divorce in 1996, the tiara was not seen again until we caught a glimpse of Kate wearing it at the annual December diplomatic reception in 2015. The images from these formal events often leave a lot to be desired, since official photographers are typically not permitted inside, but even so everyone went wild. It was very exciting to see this classic Diana tiara on Kate, and the connection between its name and her title added a little something extra. Since then, the Lovers’ Knot has become Kate’s most frequently worn tiara; we know of six occasions on which she’s worn it. Pictured here after that first appearance are the 2016 diplomatic reception (with some of my favorite earrings), 2017 Spanish state dinner (in a @marchesafashion color/neckline I’m dying to see more of plus a to-die-for necklace loaned by the Queen), 2018 Netherlands state dinner (everyone hated that blue @alexandermcqueen but I loved it), and 2018 diplomatic reception (everyone loved that blue @jennypackham but I was lukewarm about it). Overall this tiara is well on its way to becoming one of Kate’s signature pieces and I’m delighted we’ve been able to see it on her so often. What do you think? Do you like this tiara on Kate?

There are photos of Prince Louis. The photos are leaked! I won’t post them because I respect a privacy of William & Catherine’s Family. So I will post them after Palace will do. I hope you understand. Have a beautiful evening! ❤️
