Finally getting round to uploading again! I was supposed to have some time off after Eid but it has been non stop! Every year I always say I am going to take limited orders for Eid but somehow I always end up taking on too much! So over the 2 days (I had 2 collection days for the 2 Eids), this is what went out..... Probably the most requested recipe from this year's Eid baking was for these mint Aero cookies! The original recipe called for rolling and cookie cutters, but I made life a little easier and chilled the dough to allow for slice and bake. And you know what? SO happy I did. Mint Aero lovers, you gotta try these! Mint Aero haters, try them with normal Aero and let me know how they turn out __________________________________________ WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 250 g Butter (unsalted) 3/4 cup Icing Sugar 1 tsp Vanilla 100 g Mint Aero Chocolate 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Powder ___________________________________________ WHAT TO DO: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Mix butter, icing sugar, and vanilla until smooth In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder; add to the wet ingredients slowly Fold in chopped Aero Divide the dough in two; shape both sections into triangular logs, wrap them using cling wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour (minimum) After the hour, take them out and slice the log up Place cookies on a lined baking tray; bake for 12-15 minutes Let cookies cool before drizzling with melted milk chocolate . . . . . #aero #chocolate #cookies #cookiemonster #eidcookies #mintchocolate #toronto #bakersfeed #bakedfromscratch #inmykitchen #whatimadetoday #eidbaking #cookiebox #treatboxes #chocolatedreams #shortbread #sliceandbake #recipesharing #iconeicscoops
