Ever since I started doing sports I have LOVED coaching - I became captain of my handball team (age 7) and my football team in my second year playing.
I enjoy being an athlete, but even so the coach in me never rests. Sometimes I think it allows me to take mask my own fears and flaws to try to help others past theirs - and often, in the process it helps me deal with my issues without directly addressing them. WIN-WIN

@chhplondon Did you know training hard is not the answer to better results? One of the most misunderstood aspect of training lies in the belief that the harder, longer and more frequently you train, the better the training response.
While each of these variables have a profound effect on the outcome and are all very important, a key thing to remember is that the training ‘dose’ is the stimulus to the body that results in the subsequent adaptation by the body. With this in mind, it is in fact the period in between the training stimulus that are paramount in order for our bodies to adapt and improve. Just like you put effort into your training sessions, put effort into ensuring you get the right dose of rest and recovery to allow your adaptations to occur and improvements and goals to be met. This isn’t to say you need to go 50% in all of your training sessions, however if you are doing heavy squats 6 days a week and wondering why your numbers arent going up maybe it's something to do with the fact that you are in a constant state of break down rather than build up!
