“With the popularity of eyelash extensions, many beautiful women are coming into our office with full thick lashes. However, they are also coming in with untreated Blepharitis, too. Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelids. The eyelids can become red, irritated, and itchy and can develop dandruff-like scales along the eyelashes. It is a common eye condition that can occur in all ages and all gender. It is caused by an accumulation of the natural bacteria on our lids and face. However, when there is too much bacterial build up, the eyelids can become inflamed. A common skin condition that can be associated with Blepharitis is Rosacea. Also, Demodex mites can breed along the lash margins in chronic Blepharitis patients. These Demodex mites like to live close to the hair follicles on human skin. Blepharitis is not contagious but can have uncomfortable symptoms. Symptoms include: grittiness, foreign body sensation, burning, itching, red and swollen eyelids, crusting along eyelids, excessive tearing, and dry eyes. If left untreated, Blepharitis can lead to further ocular inflammations and infections, like keratitis and hordeolum (stye). Blepharitis treatment depends on the severity and type of Blepharitis. All in all, the goal is to keep the eyes clean and free of crusts and scurf. Lid hygiene is recommended daily and sometimes in office BlephEx treatment is needed. Many women are afraid of losing their extension lashes when cleaning off their eye makeup or simply washing their face. Heat and certain eye makeup remover can promote the lashes to come off faster and easier. Therefore, many women avoid washing their eyes and makeup off properly. The gold packaging makes it feel luxurious and it does have some weight to it ⁣ • Claims to be lengthening and intense volume for dramatic lashes. Build able. Weightless. Super pigmented. Does not smudge or flake ⁣ ⁣ What I think of it? ⁣ • I love the mascara for its lengthening purposes but I don’t see much a difference in volume⁣ • Love love love ❤️ the wand because it is just right to get all my lashes coated ⁣ • It separates the lashes without it looking clumpy or spider like ⁣ • The packaging is omg to die. It’s sleek, there is weight so you know it’s not cheap⁣ • If you have lashes that does not have length or need a mascara to try out then go for this ⁣ • It didn’t flake off onto my skin which I have see happen many times with other mascaras. I did a wear test from 8:32am-5:50pm so it held up pretty well on my lashes. Didn’t even smudge onto my crease or my under eyes ⁣ ⁣ Do you need this in your makeup collection?⁣ • Personally, no. My @marcjacobs velvet noir held up better and it had both volume and length. However my velvet noir flakes a bit while this one hasn’t. ⁣ • The mascara feels light and airy. It makes your lashes look natural ⁣ • It is not bad but it isn’t needed in your collection. It does it’s job for what it claims, but for my lashes I’m looking for volume and it didn’t give me that. There’s way more mascaras that can do the same thing without breaking the wallet ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ~P.S.
