Picked up a couple cheap Xbox 360 games including Fable Anniversary. I’ve always wanted to try this series. Still 10 more days til God of War, so more experimenting with different games while I wait. No, it's not photoshopped into the picture #wizardry‍♂️ - knocking out #weekofswitch with a bonus #weekofxbox post. Bear with me, I'm going somewhere with this. --- I forgot I have one more post left for day five of #weekofswitch - most anticipated game. --- There has been some news and discussion about Xbox Live coming to the Nintendo Switch for a few weeks now. Yet, we still don't know what this exactly entails; that's how I understand it anyway. That being said, what I hope this means is we'll be able to download or stream certain games available through Xbox Game Pass. If that's the case, my most anticipated game for the Switch is going to be Fable (the first). Fable has remained one of my favorite games since first playing it at launch. And, the thought of having it liberated to be played on the Switch anywhere, anytime has me excited. It's a shame what Microsoft did to Lionhead Studios and I lament that we will probably never get a proper fourth entry. But, at least I'll have this handheld version of their best title from the series ... maybe. --- Have you played Fable? Did you like it? I know a lot of folks thought the game was way too short when it was released. What about the Xbox Live on Switch news? As Gamers, we see games as new experiences. Sometimes they're good experiences and sometimes they're just plainly terrible. But nonetheless we welcome them and are excited to see what they can offer us. Fable is one series that I've had many amazing experiences but unfortunately also some sad ones too. I definitely miss Fable and have yet to play a game that has given me such humor, such darkness and such a captivating world as Albion. If you've played Fable, then you know what I'm talking about. I loved the first one. It was one hell of a ride and I had never played anything like it before. And unfortunately the third one was just terrible. It was too decision based and was a shadow of its former self. But the second one...that one was golden. Fable 2 was what we wanted from part 1 and what we needed from part 3. Now Peter Molyneux has left Lionhead and maybe that's for the better. But he gave us a franchise that made its mark in the realm of RPGs and I thank him. Finally got a copy of Fable Anniversary! Fable was basically the first game I ever loved and holds such a big place in my heart. I honestly do hope they announce a fourth game, and that the people developing it are fans of the series. What’s the game you first fell in love with?
