Restricts your ‘eating window’ (time you are allowed to eat) so that you end up eating LESS FOOD.❗️

It really is that simple.

Another IMPORTANT thing is that: it’s NOT for EVERYONE ❗️

Whether or not intermittent fasting will be ideal for you depends on your LIFESTYLE.

I personally don’t even do it everyday! I’ll use it on days when I’m less active and have less stress going on in my life.

❗️Intermittent Fasting may work for you if:
You have a healthy relationship with food
Don’t usually get hungry in the mornings
LOVE coffee☕️
Understand the fundamentals of fatloss and nutrition
You have a light/sedentary ♀️lifestyle for most of the day (I don’t suggest it for jobs that are high in physical labor/ require a lot of activity)♂️

I’m not saying don’t try it out. Learn the fundamentals of fat loss (calories in < calories out) and nutrition (go through all my posts!).

Once you’ve nailed the basics then experiment with it! Keep an open mind and if it doesn’t work, that’s okay! It’s not your fault. This is part of finding what works for you!

Everyday I strive to make some more progress. I try not to let negativity get in my way but it’s hard. There are days where I am feeling myself and feel pretty and then other days I still see the girl on the left. I still have some insecurities. I think to myself how awesome it would be to see them gone, but if they were to disappear overnight I wouldn’t have my awesome story to tell of how I got where I am today.

This is the perfect time to share some different ways bone broth can be enjoyed!

Here, we’ve added a “pinch” of turmeric, a large squeeze of lemon and some fresh rosemary to a single cup of broth. I can’t tell you how INSANE this was!

Just add the broth to a cup, stir in the turmeric, add the lemon and rosemary and let it sit for a few minutes while all the flavors infuse.

The closer you stick to the basics, the better your results will be

When first starting keto, don’t stress out about macros. Just focus on staying under 20 net carbs. Your carbs should mostly come from non-starchy veggies. .
Eat enough to be satisfied but not full and definitely not stuffed. Remember you’re trying to lose weight, so you need to cut back on portions a bit (Calories in drinks count, so don’t drink 1/2 cup of heavy cream in your coffee).

Try not to snack. If you feel hungry in between meals, you probably need to add a little more protein or healthy fats to your meal. Fats keep you feeling satisfied and satiated between meals. Tea and coffee is also a good “snack” ☕️
.
For my sweet tooth tribe, if you’re dying for some sweets, make my “Reece’s” Fat Bombs (recipe in my highlights @low.carb.love) and have one after lunch or dinner.

Inflammation is the precursor to all diseases and your body's way of protecting itself from infection, illness.
As part of the inflammatory response, your body increases its production of white blood cells, immune cells, and substances called cytokines that help fight infection.
Classic signs of acute (short-term) inflammation include redness, pain, heat, and swelling.
On the other hand, chronic (long-term) inflammation often occurs inside your body without any noticeable symptoms. This type of inflammation can drive illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, fatty liver disease, and cancer
Chronic inflammation can also happen when people are obese or under stress.

What Causes It?
Certain lifestyle factors — especially habitual ones — can promote inflammation.
Consuming high amounts of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup is particularly harmful. It can lead to insulin resistance, diabetes, and obesity.
Consuming a lot of refined carbs, such as white bread, may contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance, and obesity.
What’s more, eating processed and packaged foods that contain trans fats has been shown to promote inflammation and damage the endothelial cells that line your arteries.
Vegetable oils used in many processed foods are another possible culprit. Regular consumption may result in an imbalance of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids, which can promote inflammation .
Excessive intake of alcohol and processed meat can also have inflammatory effects on your body.
Additionally, an inactive lifestyle that includes a lot of sitting is a major non-dietary factor that can promote inflammation.

If you want to reduce inflammation, eat fewer inflammatory foods and more anti-inflammatory foods.
Base your diet on whole, nutrient-dense foods that contain antioxidants — and avoid processed products. Eat more Greens! .
