suuuuuper messy color study of the viera i posted in my story (^◇^;) i was supposed to draw her in my style, but i kinda got lost in akihiko yoshida‘s colors,,,,, i don‘t know how this man achieved this,,,, god-like color level,,,,,, he‘s like the master of colors (´；Д；`) i wish to be this good one day as well, but i still have a damn long way ahead of me,,,,,, _:(´ཀ`」 ∠): the study was both kinda tedious and fun tbh! i got a lot of insight on how colors work and sharpened my eye for them, since i handpicked every one of them like you would do in a traditional piece! paleasasheet critiqued that i make my life too easy with the handy multiply/overlay mode, even though i don‘t understand colors well and she‘s damn right! that‘s why light is the main focus here! and tbh: it was pretty cool to do that since light is my favorite thing in every art piece: it gives us both unbelievably pretty colors and some nice ass atmospheres! that‘s why i wanna do more studies like these (and on all different things as well OOOF) in the future, because lately i felt like i wasn‘t really improving ( ´_ゝ`) AAAAANYWAYS lol, i‘m still planning on p r o p e r l y drawing her since this was my original goal but i still have lots of things to finish and to start in the future AND i‘m also pretty jumpy with my ideas so i don‘t really know if i‘ll be able to do that,,,,, but knowing me, i wouldn‘t be surprised if i‘d post her finished piece tomorrow night LMAO . . . #semirealism #viera #ffxivviera #vieraffxiv #ffxiv #ffxii #vieraffxii #ffxiiviera #bunnyears #usagimimi #kemonomimi #colorstudy #akihikoyoshida #procreate #ipadpro
