• SNAP SCARFS • So let’s talk about my snap scarfs and how I come to create them. The first year I started my sewing adventure I wanted to make something for my girls to wear when it was cold, and I had a bad experience with a scarf as my girls had one and I walked into the room and round it wrapped around my then 6months old neck and my 2 year old trying to pull it off, it freaked me out so that went into the bin and I had a light bulb moment that what if I created a scarf like a bib and had buttons at the back so they could be easily removed of little ones neck, but it had to fit a baby and a 3 year old because we all know you have to have the same so I Made it a little bigger and added another sizing option they do fit upto a 5-6. The first ones I made were just made of a soft jersey fabric and the first year I think I sold maybe 1, I thought okay I won’t do them again. Come my second year and I had entered the brand rep world and I showed my first team them and they encouraged me to try again. So I hunted down all the in colours in the softest fabric I could find but they still sit right so I decided to line them with a fleece to make them sit right and become warmer. When I sent my first lot to my reps I was soo nervous and worried that they would hate them but they fell in love and the kiddies love wearing them as well as they have the freedom play and keep warm and you don’t have to worry about them killing each other I love bringing them out every winter and choosing new colours but we are coming to a end of the AW season so if you want to snap one up use the code SNAP to buy one and get the second half price . . @foxandwildling
